Points of View is a project that enables students to utilize digital storytelling to document situational reenactments of issues that have made a significant impact on their lives. The viewer will relive these moments through the eyes of the story tellers, children, who will use digital cameras to capture either still or moving images. These stories are an on-going effort to promote digital citizenship and social action for students living in an urban school district.

Paterson, NJ
Birthplace of the American Industrial Revolution, Paterson is located approximately 12 miles west of New York City. The Paterson Great Falls provided the hydo-electric current that fueled neighboring mills and factories along the raceway of channels diverted from the Passaic River. Paterson earned the nickname "Silk City" because it was the primary producer of silk during the American Industrial Revolution. President Barack Obama decreed that The Paterson Great Falls and surrounding district are an integral part of American history, worthy of National Park distinction. Paterson boasts such hometown heroes as Larry Doby and Lou Costello.

Hurricane Irene
On August 25, 2011, Paterson was hit by gail force winds and rain. Low-lying areas along the Passaic River were toured by President Obama and deemed a disaster area.
