Points of View is a project that enables students to utilize digital storytelling to document situational reenactments of issues that have made a significant impact on their lives. The viewer will relive these moments through the eyes of the story tellers, children, who will use digital cameras to capture either still or moving images. These stories are an on-going effort to promote digital citizenship and social action for students living in an urban school district.
WPU/Tutors
PS #12 is a Professional Development School with William Paterson University (WPU). Student tutors from WPU are instrumental in enhancing students' learning experience by preparing a varied array of lessons including art, archeology, music, world language, and dance. Volunteers from the community also lend to the teaching-learning exchange that happens in Mrs. Anderson's classroom. For instance, Mrs. April Rivkin celebrated 14 years of being a part of the PS #12 family of volunteers in 2011. Her lesson on the phonograph is a priceless treasure!
