Noble High School: Underwater Robotics class.

Students enrolled in Noble’s Traditional Boatbuilding class are building a traditional rowing tender using hand-tools. The boat is being built following traditional building methods and materials. While a minimum of modern materials are used, the bulk of the construction process follow traditional philosophies. The boat is a plank on frame construction using lapstrake design. The tender is built using cedar planks over steam bent white oak frames.
