Objectives and Outcomes
The objectives and outcomes of the Points of View initiative are a fulfillment of the criteria set forth by The NJ Professional Development Standards for NJ Educators in the following ways:

Establishing learning communities by improving student learning through clear, coherent, strategic planning;

Promoting equity by preparing educators to hold high expectations in supporting students’ academic, social, emotional, and physical development in a safe and orderly learning environment;

Facilitating quality teaching by deepening educators’ subject matter and pedagogical content;

Fostering collaboration by providing knowledge and skills to engage in collegial partnerships that are job-embedded; and

Strengthening family/community involvement by empowering educators with knowledge and skills to work effectively with resource persons of direct influence on our students.
