Fall Foliage Festival
Fall Foliage Festival
Saturday, October 1, 2011
Four Seasons held the annual Fall Foliage Festival on Oct. 1. The Top of Maine Bike Race was held, but unfortunately there were very few participants. Hopefully we will get a better turn-out next year. Micah Berube demonstrated his portable saw mill. Fortunately, for Four Seasons, the lumber cut will be used for building and trail projects. Thanks, Micah and family! There was a dedication of the sliding hill, otherwise known as Manny Mountain. The tunnel was at the Benedicta school. Logan Cyr was a boy from Benedicta that loved to ski and he passed away from cancer. The tunnel was named after him. The school closed down and the tunnel was donated to 4 Seasons. There were horse and buggy rides and games for the kids. Burgers and hot dogs were served for lunch. Thanks to all who made this possible!
